- While brush is in hand the beauty of God's creation is captured and the world comes alive with color. I Love To Paint!!!!! I am a self taught artist who picked up a brush November 2006 and have yet to put it down. My inspiration comes from everything I see. I want to capture the beauty everything around us and paint it as I see it. I paint landscapes, seascapes, graphite sketches of grandchildren and pet portraits. My favorite mediums are oil paints, soft pastels and charcoals. I do occasionally use watercolors and acrylics.
